Gilindire (Aynalıgöl) Cave: Just 5 Minutes from Ulu Resort
Located in Mersin, the pearl of the Mediterranean, Ulu Resort Hotel also stands out for its proximity to natural beauty spots. One of these is Gilindire (Aynalıgöl) Cave, just 5 minutes from our hotel.
Nature's mysterious beauty
Gilindire Cave, in the Aydıncık district of Mersin, was discovered by chance by a shepherd in 1999. Offering visitors an unforgettable experience with its stalactites and stalagmites, the cave's most striking feature is its crystal-clear underground lake. Because of the reflections on the water, the lake was named Aynalıgöl ("mirror lake").
A short excursion after breakfast
Guests staying at our hotel can visit this natural wonder with a short drive after breakfast, then return to the hotel to relax in the spa or swim in the cool waters of the Mediterranean.
An ideal base for exploring the region
After seeing Gilindire Cave, you can explore the region's other natural and historical sights and taste Mersin's unique cuisine. Our reception team will be happy to help with trip suggestions.
